- CONTROL OF Employee Benefits
Reports are designed to help you control the benefit enrollment, employee contributions and monthly
premiums. A history of all premium and employee benefit changes that occurred over any period of
time can be displayed or printed. With the Report Writer, you can create custom reports that
analyze, summarize and professionally present your benefits data.
- TIME SAVINGS AND INCREASED ACCURACY
Premium amount changes are made once and the Benefits Manager automatically updates each
employee defined for that benefit and also creates the new payroll deduction amount.
- COMPUTATION OF IMPUTED GROUP TERM LIFE INSURANCE INCOME
You can automatically calculate and impute the taxable amount of group term life insurance in
excess of $50,000.
- ONE DATABASE FOR PAYROLL, PERSONNEL AND BENEFITS
No need to maintain many different databases, the Benefits Manager is fully integrated with
A D Computer's PC Payroll Input and Personnel software.
- USER DEFINED FORMULAS
Insurance benefits can be entered using formulas, for example: life insurance equal to two
times the employee's annual salary, saving time from changing employee's coverage and
calculating new premiums every time a rate or salary changes.
- FLEXIBLE BENEFITS
Ability to assign benefits from a pop up list, which can include a benefit credit, for each employee. Each type of benefit may be either pre-tax or post-tax. The net pre-tax and the post-tax cost are calculated and automatically deducted from the employee. A credit balance would allow the option for the balance to be paid as addition taxable compensation. A list of benefits might include medical, dental, life insurance, dependent life, LTD, AD&D, health care spending, dependent care spending, etc.
- COMPANY / EMPLOYEE BENEFIT DATA AVAILABLE ON YOUR PC
Benefit provider data: provider name, address, contact person, title, phone number, plus an
unlimited memo area to record key conversations and events pertaining to this provider
Employee benefit data: name, benefit type, plan type, effective date, coverage, employee premium,
dependent premium, employee contribution and contribution frequency.
Employee dependent data: name, date of birth, social security number, insured and dependent
type.
Job History
An unlimited job/salary history is automatically maintained for each employee. Any change in job or salary will be recorded with the effective date.
Educational Reimbursement
Course and school name, tuition, reimbursement, credits, grade and completion date can be tracked for each employee.
Seminar Tracking
Seminar content, date, cost and license earned can be tracked for each employee.
Employee Relations
Employee events along with an unlimited memo area for each event can be maintained for each employee.
Skills Inventory
Employee skills along with comments on their skill level can be stored for easy retrieval.
